Propecia
Propecia is for the treatment of male pattern hair loss in MEN ONLY and should NOT be used by women or children.
Propecia is the first and only FDA approved pill demonstrated to treat male pattern hair loss on the vertex (top of head) and anterior mid-scalp area (middle front of head) in men only. There is not sufficient evidence that Propecia works for receding hairlines at the temples.
Hair Replacement Surgery
Has also made many advances from the plug of hair to individual follicular implantation. Hair Replacement Surgery ( Hair Transplantation ) is done by surgically removing a graft from the occipital area and transplanting to the balding area. Provided that the patient has enough donor hair in the occipital area.
